Effet sp\u00e9cifique des 60s et 70s et du British Blues Boom, il \u00e9tait souvent fabriqu\u00e9 sous forme de petit module qui se branchait directement dans le jack de la guitare ou qui se pla\u00e7ait au dessus de l'ampli.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Son utilisation est d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux sons satur\u00e9s. Il donne son meilleur dans un ampli d\u00e9j\u00e0 pouss\u00e9 en saturation, ou en combinaison avec une grosse fuzz bien \u00e9paisse, germanium notamment. Dans un ampli son clair, on a juste un effet de clean boost, favorisant donc les aigus, mais son utilit\u00e9 est plus limit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Un Treble Booster, c\u2019est un seul transistor, et quelques composants autour. Il n'y a donc plus grand chose \u00e0 inventer. Mais les diff\u00e9rents mod\u00e8les vintage avaient tous une signature particuli\u00e8re, et n'offraient quelquefois que peu de latitude dans l'expressivit\u00e9. Pour concevoir ce mod\u00e8le, je me suis inspir\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois du <strong>Dallas Rangemaster<\/strong> et de l'<strong>Apollo Treble Booster<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-541-0-3\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell panel-grid-cell-empty\" ><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-541-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-541-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell panel-grid-cell-empty\" ><\/div><div id=\"pgc-541-1-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-541-1-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><div class=\"panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-541-1-1-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le boost du Rangemaster am\u00e8ne l'agressivit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaire pour cr\u00e9er cette grosse distorsion, et le contr\u00f4le \u00ab\u00a0color\u00a0\u00bb permet de moduler la r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence pour adapter le taux d'aigus et de hauts mediums.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La simplicit\u00e9 de cette p\u00e9dale rend la saturation tr\u00e8s brute, tr\u00e8s directe. Je jeu est facilit\u00e9 par l'apport d'harmoniques tr\u00e8s chantantes, tout en associant puissance et agressivit\u00e9. Ce treble booster am\u00e8ne une certaine fra\u00eecheur et du temp\u00e9rament.
